Magnum is Hiring

Mag­num Pho­tos is look­ing for a full time Edi­to­r­ial Rep­re­sen­ta­tive to work in the New York office.  Appli­ca­tions are due on the 20th of Jan­u­ary.  This looks like it will be a fast paced posi­tion where one would work closely with pho­tog­ra­phers and pub­li­ca­tions to coor­di­nate assign­ments, gain­ing thor­ough knowl­edge of edi­to­r­ial demands of the major pub­li­ca­tions as well as the inner work­ings of a his­toric  pho­tog­ra­phy agency.

Main Respon­si­bil­i­ties

• To han­dle daily edi­to­r­ial assign­ments from North Amer­i­can news­pa­pers and mag­a­zines includ­ing nego­ti­a­tion of fees, liais­ing with pho­tog­ra­phers, client con­tracts, expenses, embar­goes, through to invoicing.
• To pro­mote the story ideas, works in progress and com­pleted projects of Mag­num pho­tog­ra­phers to North Amer­i­can print & online media.
