Magnum Photos is looking for a full time Editorial Representative to work in the New York office. Applications are due on the 20th of January. This looks like it will be a fast paced position where one would work closely with photographers and publications to coordinate assignments, gaining thorough knowledge of editorial demands of the major publications as well as the inner workings of a historic photography agency.
Main Responsibilities
- To handle daily editorial assignments from North American newspapers and magazines including negotiation of fees, liaising with photographers, client contracts, expenses, embargoes, through to invoicing.
- To promote the story ideas, works in progress and completed projects of Magnum photographers to North American print & online media.
